RED ROSES

The rain comes down and the feeling your heart is cold runs through each one's body, young and old. Washing the dirt away, but not the hurt that's there to stay. The sun rises and it sets, but i know we'll never ever forget, all the lives we've come to know, that we've lost somewhere down the road. what is the difference between guns and roses? Guns beat down leaving a need for red roses, to pass to the ones who wait for the rain to wash their dirt away. but always, the pain is there to stay. No matter how hard we try, some still have to look to the sky. Remembering the one they loved, which carelessness and hatred has torn from them. Not one not two but more than a few have yet to see the perfect day when rain runs dry, hearing no one's cry. Experiencing the light God does provide rising us above and beyond. When will guns be beaten down by red roses killing hatred and carelessness leaving peace and love alive...
