200 years

i was feeling a bit history-influenced...


There’s an old wooden broken down door
closed and shattered across an old dirt floor
gone with the struggles of Sojourner Truth
And legions of others who came before

Curled up and sort of hunched over
I can’t keep out such thoughts of wonder

Everything

Everything seems to come and go.
Things and life flash through and then go...
Come and go like winter snow.
Winter snow.
Watching the flakes as they fall to the earth
Quiet and calm
staring, smiling at her.
Beautiful though is the abscence of knowing,
the exact time of the quiet snow's coming.
Blanketing the earth,
with comfort and knowing,
the snow is there,
it;s there and cares.

though now it's going
melting away
to come another day
it is now lost, all things must,
on the heart is a pricely cost, but
come it will

again it will come,
it does know the hearts in need,
its comfort will fill,
sometimes those friends are all you need
to comfort you
to help you see
trust in them, and and the snow will come

so many things i could elaborate on this, the things bringing us apart, or being together and its hapiness' bliss.
all in the same thpugh is the concept of it.
together is our heart, apart is love forever missed.

RUN

Blank expression staring at the line, two years of training running through my mind. Not what i can't do, but what i can. knowing the pain is there to come, but knowing i can and will have fun. not alone with my sister there for me, running the race of liberty. Leaving just the shadow behind us, leaving the trail of you and me. coming to the finish i see, pushing towards what i believe. Hugs and cheering all alike, this ones different, this one is life. starting here and finishing there with ones beside me where cheers are near. Run. Live. Laugh. Smile. Even in that hurting mile.
